TECTONIC PLATES
Tectonic plates are land that move underneath us. When they collide it may cause a volcano to erupt. New Zealand is on the Australian & pacific plates and there are about 14,000 earthquakes a year in New Zealand. tectonic plates are made of Continental & Oceanic plates or crust and not all earthquakes are felt by humans. Not all tectonic plates move the same way some move up some move down and this all started about 25 million years ago. Earth crust has many pieces called plates. Geologist say there are about 7 huge plates the 7 huge plates are New Zealand, Africa, South America, North America, Southern plates, Pacific plates and asian plates. When plates smash together they cause earthquakes.

Like:I like all the sports and i love rugby so very much because it gets me going for other sports.
Dislike:I dislike being sick because i won't see my friends.
Passion:My passion is to dance because i am awsome at hip hop.
Highlight:My highlight is that in the terrific year the rugby team won the grand final and won to southbridge.
Goal:My gaol is to use all of the reading strategiesby by the end of the year.

THINKING TOOLS:I won't to know all the habits of the minds so i can use them in my life time and i want to achieve this by the end of week 9.
READING COMPREHENSION:I would like to learn how to read fluently and read out loud i want to achieve this by the end of week 8.
NUMERACY:I want to know all my times tables and division by the end of week 9.
SOCIAL:To play and work more interdependently with more people by the end of week 8.
Thinking tools:I did not achieve this goal because I did not practice.
Reading comprehension:I have achieved this goal by reading to my sister and brother.
Numeracy:I have achieved this goal by practicing in the time 30 seconds.
Social:I have achieved this goal because i work well with some one I didn't like.
